Delete Your AquaTrack Account
AquaTrack lets you delete your account and the data stored with it at any time, from inside the app or from this page.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account and the data stored with it in either of these two ways.
Option 1: In the AquaTrack app (immediate)
- 1Sign in to AquaTrack, or open it if you are already signed in.
- 2Open Settings from the menu at the bottom of the screen (or the sidebar on a computer).
- 3In the Account section, select Delete My Account.
- 4Confirm. Your filters, replacement history, notifications, and saved preferences are deleted immediately, and you are signed out.
Option 2: Without the app (request form below)
If you have uninstalled AquaTrack, or you want the sign-in account itself removed rather than just the data inside it, send us a request using the form at the bottom of this page. Include the email address on your AquaTrack account so we can find it.
We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and we do not ask you to reinstall the app.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted
- Your account: the name, email address, and sign-in credentials for it.
- Filters: every item you track, including its name, location, brand, model, size, installation date, expected lifespan, notes, and stock count.
- Multi-stage systems: every stage you set up and its individual schedule.
- Replacement history: the dates and notes recorded for each replacement.
- Notifications and reminders, including anything already read.
- Saved preferences, such as your reminder timing and order-soon settings.
- Photos you attached to a filter.
Kept
- Backup copies: data removed from the live app may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before those backups are overwritten.
- Records we are required by law to keep, for as long as the law requires.
Deleting your account cannot be undone, and deleted records cannot be recovered.
